So You Want To Be a Super Villain?

Today marks the first reader submitted RP costume for Fashion Dwarf.  Dascylus, a Worgen Death Knight from Argent Dawn, likes to masquerade as Lord Victor Nefarius!  Now this set has a few requirements to properly pull off.  First off, one has to roll either a Human or Worgen male, Death Knight . Secondly, you must be in a position to get some Tier 11 gear.  There are some BOE Trash drops that match some of the DK tier pieces, but sadly at this time, there are no BOE or non-DK pieces that match the hand slot items.

Today's installment deals with several sets of attractive looking leather armor easily attainable either through questing in the level 20-50 range or through lucky Auction House shopping.  These sets are not new to Cataclysm, what is new, is that Blizzard has used these models and textures for a host of new quest rewards that were implemented in Cataclysm. Keep in mind, there are often other items in the game with some of these models and textures. My lists are by no means exhaustive, indeed I am trying to list those items most easily attainable.

Cataclysm brought a redesign of low level armor, much of which I think is well designed and quiet aesthetically pleasing.  Particular favorites of mine are the level 40ish cloth and leather sets.  Today we will cover the purple and silver accented and red colored Cloth sets which can be obtained in their entirety*.

Welcome to "Down With Clown Suits!" A blog that will serve as a guide to assembling and showcasing what I believe to be aesthetically pleasing sets of armor with a particular audience being the RP community.  Some of these will be practical, some may be somewhat risque, and some may at times be downright silly, but for the most part they will follow a similar appearance and palette scheme and will consist of as many BOE or easily obtainable pieces of gear as possible.

Sadly due to the changes wrought in Azeroth or due to the scarcity of some items, some high level characters who have already completed some quests may find some of the sets displayed here to be impossible to obtain.  Despair not!  The nature of the current game levels 1-40 (and even to level 60) makes leveling an alt a rapid and relatively painless affair.

Now keep in mind as a dedicated Alliance fan-dwarf, some of the guides will be somewhat slanted towards assisting my fellow blue side players in acquiring outfits, but I will try to not leave you Hordlins completely high and dry.
